Solution Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0 Workaround prior to upgrade: Avoid HA Failover on a chassis with 10/24 FCoE blades installed. 400 multiprotocol router panicked while upgrading the peer 400 multiprotocol router from Fabric OS 6.1.0c to 6.2.0g while fabric is not stable and going through a fabric rebuild. Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0 Switch admin: User tab: The Lf ID- Role mapping: Name window heading Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0 and tool tip are inappropriate. NS GE_PT request from 1320 devices per switch may get rejected. Multiprotocol router blade heartbeat dead causes reboot while traffic is running over FCIP links. May cause CP failover to take place. Only traffic on the router blade is disrupted. Cfgsave actually pushes the data, but should not do so, as due to session timeout. Stale transaction is not properly terminated before processing new TI zone, which can result in erroneous TI zone properties list and lead to other fabric-wide instability events. Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0 VERIFY error message seen during repeated blade disable-enable tests followed by HA failover. Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0 Kernel panic observed in standby (new active) CP in edge DC04 SAN director when nameserver daemon terminated in active CP. Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0 Port Fencing - Cable pull/insert may fence Ex_Ports via ITWs. Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0 Workaround prior to upgrade: Reenable EX_Port if it gets fenced. DC04 SAN director, DC SAN Backbone director, and 4/256 director: After Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0 changing domain offset followed by hafailover. Unknown LSR type Workaround prior to upgrade: messages started scrolling continuously on console log. Perform hafailover to other CP. VE-port/FWconfigure Packet Loss may not generate correct values for VE ports on 400 multiprotocol router or multiprotocol router blade. Fixed in Fabric OS 6.4.0 44
