Configuring Software Authentication 5 Authentication Settings on the navigation panel, then select the Software tab. The Software configuration page (Figure 5-2) displays. Figure 5-2 Software Authentication Configuration Page The Permitted Management Software list shows authenticated out-of-band software identifiers (such as NMRU connections to the switch). Add, edit, and delete the software packages as follows: • Add a software package by selecting the New button. Use the Software Member area to configure settings for the software as described in Configuring Software Authentication Properties on page 5-8. • Edit a listed software package by selecting the software ID from the list, then selecting the Edit button. Use the Software Member area to configure settings for the software as described in Configuring Software Authentication Properties on page 5-8. • Delete a software package by selecting the software ID from the list, then selecting the Delete button.
