Viewing the Fabric Log 6 Viewing the Fabric Log Select Logs > Fabric on the navigation panel. The Fabric Log (Figure 6-6) wrapping page displays. The Fabric Log page provides the following button functions: • Wrapping-Select this button to display the wrapping page of the log. This page shows the last entries written in the log, because once the log is full, the oldest entries are overwritten with new entries. • Non Wrapping-Select this button to display the non-wrapping page of the log. This page shows the first entries written to the log. TIP: The same entries will go into both wrapped and non-wrapped logs until the non-wrap log gets full. Once the non-wrap log gets full, the entries go into the wrap log. Once the wrap log is full, it will start to overwrite entries. If you need to look at a history of log entries, you should review both logs. • Clear-Select this button to clear the contents of the log. The log's contents are deleted from system memory. ATTENTION! Before clearing logs, make sure the logs are not needed for troubleshooting. Once a log is cleared, the data cannot be retrieved. • Print-Select this button to send the contents of the log to a printer. • Text File-Select this button to open the log in a new window as a text file. on the navigation panel. The
Fabric Log

—Select this button to display the wrapping page of the
log. This page shows the last entries written in the log, because
