• The HBA on a local host is malfunctioning and is inaccessible to the local host as well as to the SAN. • The HBA on a local host is busy performing a local firmware download and is temporarily inaccessible to the local host as well as to the SAN. • The HBA is being reset or its firmware is being updated. A grey HBA icon represents an HBA that was removed from the fabric. It will remain in the discovery-tree for thirty minutes after it is removed, unless you change the discovery properties. (See "Modifying Discovery Properties" on page 17 for more information.) The HBA will disappear from the discovery-tree when EZPilot Manager is exited and restarted. The Switch icon represents connections to the switch. The Target icon represents connections to individual targets. The Logical Drive icon represents connections to individual logical drives. The Storage icon represents connections to individual storage devices. Property Windows and Property Pages The property windows and pages display configuration, statistical and status information for selected SAN elements. The set of available property windows and pages is context-sensitive, depending on the type of element selected in the discovery-tree and the mode in which the utility is running. Status Bar The status bar is visible by default. Use the Status Bar item in the View menu to hide the status bar. If the item is checked, the status bar is visible. Discovering SAN Elements Hosts, HBAs, switches, storage devices and logical drives are discovered automatically by a discovery server when you launch EZPilot Manager.
