English Change scan settings through the EWS 1. Open the EWS for the desired product. 2. Click the Digital Sending tab. 3. Click Send to Folder. 4. In the Predefined Folder section of the page, click a destination folder and then click Edit. 5. Scroll down to the Edit Default Document Settings section and change the following settings as needed: ● Color Preference ● File Format ● Resolution ● Default File Size NOTE: In the EWS you cannot configure the "Optimize Text/Picture" setting because this setting always differs from job to job and should be set at the control panel. 6. Click OK. In general, high quality images require larger file sizes. Likewise, smaller file sizes result in a decrease in image quality.
