To log in as Admin, click the menu in the corner. 2.2.1.3 Deadlock: Front Panel locked + EWS password forgotten Under certain circumstances, a printer might become inaccessible if the control panel has been locked and the administrator has lost the password needed to unlock it. This could happen if the front panel is locked through the printer's Embedded Web Server and the Administrative password for the EWS is lost. In this situation, it would not be possible to unlock the front panel from the Embedded Web Server and it would not be possible to reset the Embedded Web Server from the front panel. Note: If the printer's front panel becomes locked and you are unable to unlock it, then you should contact HP support as soon as possible. SCL certificates • Jetdirect identity certificate You can request, install, and manage digital certificates on the HP Jetdirect print server. Certificates are used to identify the Jetdirect print server both as a valid web server for network clients, and as a valid client requesting access on a secure network. By default, the Jetdirect print server contains a self-signed, preinstalled certificate. 15
