Service door Description Plastics Kit (contains the service door) Spare part number 676652-001 Before removing the service door, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 30). Remove the service door: 1. Slide the battery release latch (1) to release the service door. 2. Slide the service door (2) toward the front of the computer. 3. Before removing the service door, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet
and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4.
Remove the battery (see
Battery
on page
30
).
Remove the service door:
1.
Slide the battery release latch

to release the service door.
2.
Slide the service door
(2)
toward the front of the computer.
3.
Lift up and remove the service door
