Shut down the computer. 2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer. 3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 30), and then remove the following components: a. Service door (see Service door on page 32) b. Hard drive (see Hard drive on page 33) c. Optical drive (see Optical drive on page 36) d. WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 39) e. Keyboard (see Keyboard on page 42) f. Top cover (see Top cover on page 45) g. System board (see System board on page 52) h. Fan/heat sink assembly (see Fan/heat sink assembly on page 55) Remove the processor: 1.
