Remove the following screws that secure the top cover to the computer: (1) Two Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws in the optical drive bay (2) Three Phillips PM2.0×2.5 screws in the battery bay (3) Two Phillips PM2.5×4.0 screws in the hard drive bay 3. Turn the computer right side up, with the front toward you. 4. Open the computer. 5. Release the corresponding ZIF connectors, and then disconnect the following cables from the system board: (1) Power button board cable (2) TouchPad button board cable (3) Fingerprint reader board cable (4) Front speaker cable 62 Chapter 4 Removal and replacement procedures

Turn the computer right side up, with the front toward you.

Open the computer.

Release the corresponding ZIF connectors, and then disconnect the following cables from
the system board:

TouchPad button board cable
(3)
Fingerprint reader board cable
(4)
Front speaker cable
