16 File Manager File Manager enables you to conveniently manage files and applications stored in HUAWEI MediaPad's internal memory and the microSD card. You can perform basic operations, such as creating, viewing, editing, moving, deleting, archiving, compressing, and extracting files. Creating a Folder You can create folders to manage files stored in HUAWEI MediaPad's internal memory and the microSD card. 1. From the Home screen, touch . 2. Touch Internal or SD card. 3. Touch then New folder. 4. Name the folder. The folder name cannot be the same as that of existing folders in the same directory. 5. Touch Save. Searching For a File HUAWEI MediaPad enables you to quickly find a file in the internal memory or microSD card. 1. From the Home screen, touch . 2. Select the search location, Internal or SD card. 3. Touch in the upper right corner of the screen. 4. Enter part or all of the file name. 5. Touch Go or the enter button to start searching. Search results are then displayed in a list, and the number of found items is also displayed in the notification bar. 60
