5016-001 FRU 3 Registration Roller Clutch Assembly (CL01) Action Check the resistance of the registration clutch. It should measure between 135 and 175 ohms. Also check from the case of the clutch to either winding. It should measure infinity. If incorrect for either, replace the clutch assembly. Note: The registration clutch cable, (two blue wires), connect to the CRF cable, (violet and orange), near the clutch assembly. Check the voltages on the inline CRF cable connector. Registration roller clutch voltages: Pin # 1 (Orange) 2 (Violet) Signal Voltage +24 V dc -SL10N Voltage Static +24 V dc 0 V dc Voltage Energized +24 V dc +24 V dc Note: All voltages are approximate If the voltages are incorrect, check the CRF cable. If the cable is good, replace the engine board. If the voltage on Pin 1 is incorrect, check the continuity of the CRF cable. • If incorrect, replace the cable. • If correct, replace the engine board.
