FRU 1 Paper Tray x 2 Option Paper Pass Through Sensor Flag Tray x 3 Paper Feed: • Roller • Paper Pick Up Roller • Pick Up Gear • Pick Up Roller Idler Gears Action Check Tray x for anything that might cause the paper to jam in the tray, or prevent the media from exiting. Check the option paper pass sensor flag for signs of broken parts and that the flag is operating properly. Repair as necessary. Check the voltages on connector CN804 on the option interconnect board. Pin # 1 (Orange) 2 (Yellow) 3 (Green) SIgnal Voltage GND Pass VL Voltage Voltage Static Sensor Closed 0 V dc 0 V dc +3.6 V dc 0 - 3.6 V dc +5.0 V dc +5.0 V dc • If the static voltages are correct and the sensor does not change when activated, replace the sensor. • If the voltages are incorrect, replace the option interconnect board. Check the following paper feed parts for signs of broken teeth, excessive wear, or binding: • Paper feed unit clutch. • Paper feed roller shaft, paper transfer roller drive gear and paper feed roller. • Paper transfer roller and paper transfer roller idler gears. • Paper pick up roller, paper pick up gear, paper pick up roller idler gears.
