Scanning Overview Scanning is the process of converting an image into computer-usable information that digitizes the image. Scanners and digital cameras are devices that have the technology to transfer an external image to digital information which can then be saved as a file, printed, faxed, or otherwise manipulated on your computer. With Scan Manager in the supplied Samsung SmarThru 2 program, you can scan images directly into the image editing application Image Manager . The type of documents you can scan include photos, drawings, magazine pages, newspaper articles, and any type of single page image. You can also scan printed text to recognize editable text. Overview
