NETGEAR Wireless N150 Access Point WN604 Reference Manual Warning: By using this AP's WPS PIN, an external registrar can set or get the AP's wireless settings. So a wireless external registrar can get the AP's wireless settings through WPS with the AP's PIN, and apply the settings to get itself connected to the router. • Disable AP's PIN. Click in the checkbox if you wish to disable the AP's PIN. An external registrar can only configure the router's wireless settings through WPS when the AP's PIN is enabled. The default is Enable. • Keep Existing Wireless Settings: Check this option if you wish to keep the current wireless settings, i.e. the WN604 is in the WPS configured state. This option is unchecked by default (i.e. the WN604 is unconfigured by default). 2. Click the Add WPS Client option in the left pane. Disable AP’s PIN.
Click in the checkbox
if you wish to disable the AP’s PIN. An external
registrar can only configure the router's wireless settings through WPS when the AP's PIN
is enabled. The default is Enable.
Keep Existing Wireless Settings
: Check this option if you wish to keep the current
wireless settings, i.e. the WN604 is in the WPS configured state. This option is unchecked
by default (i.e. the WN604 is unconfigured by default).
