1. To open the back cover of the device, with the back facing you, push the button on the back (1) and slide the cover toward the bottom of the device (2), and remove it. To remove the battery, lift it from the end (3). 2. Lift the SIM card holder (4) and place the SIM card into the slot (5). Close the SIM card holder by sliding it slightly towards the bevelled corner of the SIM card (6). Make sure that the gold-coloured contact area on the card is facing downward on the device, and the bevelled corner faces toward the card holder slot. 3. Replace the battery (7). Replace the back cover (8-9). ■ Memory card Use only compatible microSDHC and microSD cards approved by Nokia for use with this device. Nokia uses approved industry standards for memory cards, but some brands may not be fully compatible with this device. Incompatible cards may damage the card and the device and corrupt data sored on the card. Important: Do not remove the memory card in the middle of an operation when the card is being accessed. Removing the card in the middle of an operation may damage the memory card as well as the device, and data stored on the card may be corrupted. Keep microSDHC and microSD cards out of the reach of small children. You can extend the available memory with a microSDHC or a microSD memory card. You can insert or remove a microSDHC or a microSD card without switching the device off. Get started
1.
To open the back cover of the device, with the back facing you, push the button
on the back (1) and slide the cover toward the bottom of the device (2), and
remove it. To remove the battery, lift it from the end (3).

Lift the SIM card holder (4) and place the SIM card into the slot (5). Close the
SIM card holder by sliding it slightly towards the bevelled corner of the SIM
card (6).
Make sure that the gold-coloured contact area on the card is facing downward
on the device, and the bevelled corner faces toward the card holder slot.

Replace the battery (7). Replace the back cover (8-9).
Memory card

Insert a memory card
Note that the memory card may be supplied with the device, and may already be
