Chapter 8 Connecting to External Devices - Connecting with headphones, remote control, or TV/monitor Connecting with headphones, remote control, or TV/monitor Headphones Headphones (optional) can be connected to the headphone terminal (3.5 mm stereo mini jack). Headphone terminal @@NOTE tt When headphones are connected, audio is not output from the speaker. Remote control Remote control (optional) can be connected to the terminals (, ). When the remote control is connected to the terminal (3.5 mm mini jack), you can remotely control the focus and iris operations. When the remote control is connected to the terminal (2.5 mm super mini jack), you can remotely control the zoom and recording start/ stop operations. terminal terminal @@NOTE tt Do not connect a device other than a remote control to the terminals. Connecting a device other than a remote control may change the brightness or cause defocus of images. tt / can be switched with the remote control, when the iris is adjusted by the remote control with the switch set to and [A.IRIS] is set to [OFF] from the main menu → [AUTO SW]. tt When the remote control is connected to the terminal, iris can be adjusted only by the remote control and cannot be adjusted by the iris ring on the camera. TV/monitor A TV or monitor can be connected as shown in the following figure.
