You can remotely control some functions by connecting the remote operation panel AK-HRP200G (optional) via an IP connection.

When you connect AK-HRP200G using a LAN cable and perform network settings of the camera and the AK-HRP200G, the camera automatically
enters the remote control mode. For the connection settings, refer to “Setting for connection with Remote Operation Panel (AK-HRP200G)”
(page 188).

Turn the <AUTO/MANUAL> switch of the camera to <MANUAL>. Some items may not work in <AUTO> depending on the camera’s automatic
adjustment settings. In addition, when you perform zoom operations in AK-HRP200G, set the camera’s <ZOOM> switch in the <SERVO> position.
f
You can exit the remote control mode by disconnecting from the network from the AK-HRP200G, or removing the network cable and switching the
camera’s power switch from <OFF> to <ON>.

When AK-HRP200G is connected to the camera, the AK-HRP200G button’s operations are as follows:

Skin tone detail button (<SKINDTL>)
Operation varies depending on the lighting status of the button.

When the button lights up, the operation follows the menu setting value of the camera (setting for skin tone detail).

When the button lights off, the skin tone detail function is set to [OFF], regardless of the menu setting value of the camera.
After restarting the camera, the menu setting value is reflected in AK-HRP200G.

Knee OFF button (<KNEE OFF>)
Operation varies depending on the lighting status of the button.
