DOLBY DIGITAL indicator Indicates Dolby Digital audio playback. @ SACD Lights when a Super Audio CD (SACD) is being played. # Bit depth display Displays the bit depth of the Linear PCM audio disc playing. $ Sampling frequency display Displays the sampling frequency of the Linear PCM audio disc playing. % MPEG Lights during playback of MPEG audio. ^ Counter display Displays the playback mode, type of disc, title/ chapter/group/track numbers, playback time, etc. & LAST MEMO indicator Indicates the Last Memory location is registered in memory for the currently loaded DVD-Video disc or Video CD (page 58). * Program Format indicators Depending on the audio format recorded on the disc loaded in the player, the following indicators light to show the channels being played back. L : Left front C : Center R : Right front LS : Left surround S : Surround (mono) RS : Right surround LFE: LFE (Low Frequency Effects) channel ( DOWNMIX indicator During multichannel audio playback, indicates that the out put signal has been "downmixed" from the original audio source. This is an automatic function performed by the player in order to present the most appropriate audio mix to the speakers present in your system.
