Advanced Functions Memorizing Regularly Used Menu Settings (Function Memory) - DVD/SACD/Video CD/CD You can create a shortcut menu that contains settings that you frequently change and call up this menu whenever you need to change one of the stored settings. Settings remain in memory regardless of the disc loaded in the player. If "FM" appears next to the menu item, the item has been successfully added to the Function Memory. 4 Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add as many as 5 items to the Function Memory. When 5 items have already been stored, "FM" does not appear next to the item when FUNCTION MEMORY is pressed. 5 Press SETUP to close the Setup screen. Note Items that cannot be changed when the disc is playing cannot be added to Function Memory if the disc is currently playing.
