Advanced Functions Viewing Disc Information - DVD/SACD/Video CD/CD Use DISPLAY to get current information about the disc currently loaded. You can get information about the titles and chapters on a DVD or tracks on a Video CD or CD. When viewing DVDs, you can also check the digital bitstream transmission rate. Press DISPLAY repeatedly to change the information being displayed. The disc information is displayed superimposed over the video image on the screen. Note Depending on the format and type of disc being used, not all screens may be displayed. The display changes for each type of disc as follows each time the button is pressed. DVD-Video Play Title 1-1 1.19 -0.59/ 2.18 TITLE information (Top Row) Title and chapter number, elapsed time of current title (Bottom Row) Remaining time in title, total time of title Play Chapter 1-1 1.19 1.19/ 2.18 CHAPTER information 1 (Top Row) Ttitle and chapter number, elapsed time of current title (Bottom Row) Time in current chapter, total time of chapter Play 1-1 1.19 Chapter -0.59/ 2.18 Play # Tr. Rate : CHAPTER information 2 (Top Row) Title and chapter number, elapsed time of current title (Bottom Row) Remaining time in current chapter, total time of chapter 1-1 1.19 8.9 Data transmission rate information (Top Row) #*1, Title and chapter number, total elapsed time of DVD (Bottom Row) Bitstream transmission rate level*2 *1 Displayed when 24-frame-per-second progressive video signals are recorded on the disc. *2 This is the value of the amount of information recorded on a DVD-Video disc. Though the transfer rate level of a particular DVD-Video disc may be high, this is only an indication of the amount of information and is not a direct indication of a better quality picture.
