Connectivity File transfer using Bluetooth You can use a computer to view and transfer content in the file manager. Install the File manager software using the CD that comes with your phone, or download the software from www.SonyEricsson.com/support. You can use the drag-and-drop function of your computer to: • Transfer files between your phone and the computer. • Delete files. Your computer needs to have one of the following operating systems to be able to use this feature: Windows® 2000, Windows ME, Windows XP and Mac OS X. Bluetooth profiles The following Bluetooth profiles are supported in the phone: • Dial-up Networking Profile • Generic Access Profile • Generic Object Exchange Profile • Object Push Profile • Serial Port Profile • Handsfree Profile • Headset Profile • Synchronization Profile • Basic Imaging Profile • File Transfer Profile • Human Interface Device (HID) Profile • SyncML OBEX binding • JSR-82 Java API. Infrared port You can use the infrared port to establish contact between your phone and a computer or another device equipped with an infrared port. You can, for example, synchronize calendar items, % 61 Synchronizing, transfer files between your phone and a computer, and send items such as pictures and contacts. If you are connecting to a computer, please refer to its user documentation. Make sure that the infrared speed in the computer is set to 115200 bps.
