TI-82 LINK The TI.82 communication capability lets you share variables and programs or entire memory backup with another TI.82 or with a personal computer. You can print TI.82 screens on a printer connected to a computer. Linking to Another TI-82 The software for one TI.82 to communicate with another is built into the TI.82. The instructions are in this chapter. Note: You cannot transmit items between the TI.82 and the TI.85 or TI.86. You can transmit some items between the TI.82 and the TI.83. See the TI.83 Guidebook for more information. Linking to a CBL 2/CBL or CBR The CBL 2é/CBLé (Calculator-Based Laboratoryé) System and CBRé (Calculator-Based Rangeré) are optional accessories that connect to the TI.82 LINK port and are used to collect and analyze real-world data. Linking to a PC or Macintosh An optional accessory, TI-GRAPH LINKé, allows a TI.82 to communicate with a personal computer. Connecting the Cable 1. Insert either end of the cable into the port very firmly. 2. Repeat with the other TI.82.
