Acquiring Other Files You will want to acquire other files if you are installing the volume or concurrent license types. Single There are no other files needed. Volume It is recommended that you review and edit the setup.ini. If performing a basic install, you do not need the setup.ini. However, if you are loading the software on multiple machines, review the setup.ini to see if it would be useful to use an advanced install. You can find the setup.ini file in the Software Service Center at education.ti.com/go/softwarecenter. Concurrent It is highly recommended that you review and edit the setup.ini file. You can find the setup.ini file in the Software Service Center at education.ti.com/go/softwarecenter. CAUTION! When installing volume and concurrent license types, download the version that matches your client OS. The Mac® and PC versions have the same content but are not compatible because of the line control characters. In Windows®, the setup.ini must reside in the same directory as the TI-Nspire™ client installer. On the Mac®, the file must reside in the /tmp directory. You will also need the TI-Admin program. You can go to education.ti.com/go/softwarecenter and follow the provided links to get the TI-Admin. The TI-Admin is run on the license management software server. 10 Installing and Activating TI Software
