Hints and Tips PostScript preScan and full scan Under PDL settings the operator has the option to prescan the first page of the job for DSC comments or to scan the full job before scheduling. Normally the operator would click the [Basic] button, that is to scan the first page, when submitting a PostScript job. However, if the PostScript files are concatenated, the [Full] button should be used. This allows all the DSC comments to be scanned before the job is submitted.
