You can then log into the N4100 and manage it. 3.7 Accessing the Devices on the LAN from the WAN Thomas manages a Doom server on a computer behind the N4100. In order for players on the Internet to communicate with the Doom server, Thomas needs to configure the port settings and IP address on the N4100. Traffic should be forwarded to server port 666 of the Doom server computer which has an IP address of 192.168.1.34. D =192.168.1.34 Server port= 666 MAC = 00:50:AB:cd:12:34 WAN LAN http://192.168.1.1:6001 1 Click ADVANCED > LAN DEVICES to open the LAN Devices screen. 2 Configure the screen as follows and click Apply. Port 666 traffic will be forwarded to the computer with IP address 192.168.1.34 and MAC address 00:50:AB:cd:12:34. Virtual port 60001 on the N4100 is mapped to server port 666 on the computer.
