Chapter 12 Network Address Translation (NAT) The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 47 Port Triggering: Configuration Add/Edit LABEL DESCRIPTION Active Select the check box to enable this rule. Service Name This field is read-only in the Port Triggering Configuration screen. Enter a name to identify this rule using keyboard characters (A-Z, a-z, 12 and so on). WAN Interface Trigger Start Port This field is read-only in the Port Triggering Edit screen. Select a WAN interface for which you want to configure port triggering rules. The trigger port is a port (or a range of ports) that causes (or triggers) the ZyXEL Device to record the IP address of the LAN computer that sent the traffic to a server on the WAN. Trigger End Port Trigger Protocol Open Start Port Type a port number or the starting port number in a range of port numbers. Type a port number or the ending port number in a range of port numbers. Select the transport layer protocol from TCP, UDP, or TCP/UDP. The open port is a port (or a range of ports) that a server on the WAN uses when it sends out a particular service. The ZyXEL Device forwards the traffic with this port (or range of ports) to the client computer on the LAN that requested the service. Open End Port Open Protocol Apply Cancel Type a port number or the starting port number in a range of port numbers. Type a port number or the ending port number in a range of port numbers. Select the transport layer protocol from TCP, UDP, or TCP/UDP. Click Apply to save your changes. Click Cancel to exit this screen without saving. 184 VSG1432-B101 Series User's Guide
