OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 99 6. If there is water, take the watercraft to the dealer for services immediately since there is a great possibility that water has entered the supercharger and the engine. If there is no water in it, continue the following steps. Disconnect the two connectors on the primary ignition cables located at the right front of the engine take the watercraft to your authorized dealer for services immediately. Do not operate the starter for longer than 5 seconds. Wait 15 seconds before using it again. j 7. 8. WARNING Do not lean over the engine when performing this procedure. A water and gasoline mixture will be forcibly ejected from the spark plug holes and could get into your eyes. If you do get some in your eyes, wash your eyes immediately with liberal amounts of clean, fresh water. Consult a physician as soon as possible. 13. If there is no water coming out of the engine, spray the spark plugs clean with air and then restore them with their plug caps. 14. Reconnect the primary ignition cable connectors. NOTE A. Cable Connectors B. Engine Front End 9. Pull and remove all the spark plug caps. 10. Remove all spark plugs. 11. Insert the ignition switch key, push the lanyard key under the stop button, and push the start button. 12. If there is water in the engine, it will be pumped out from the plug holes, discharge the water and żBe sure to make correct connections. Reconnect the cable connectors from No.1 & 4 spark plugs with the cables marked and tagged 1 & 4, and connectors from No. 2 & 3 spark plugs with the cables marked 2 & 3. Make sure the connector numbering by tracking the cables from the spark plugs. żBefore reconnecting, apply a high quality waterproof marine grease to the connectors.

charger and the engine.

If there is no water in it, continue the following
steps.

Disconnect the two connectors on the primary
ignition cables located at the right front of the
engine

Pull and remove all the spark plug caps.
10. Remove all spark plugs.
11.
Insert the ignition switch key, push the lanyard
key under the stop button, and push the start
button.
12. If there is water in the engine, it will be pumped
out from the plug holes, discharge the water and
take the watercraft to your authorized dealer for
services immediately. Do not operate the starter
for longer than 5 seconds.
Wait 15 seconds
before using it again.

Be sure to make correct connections.
Reconnect the cable connectors from No.1 & 4
spark plugs with the cables marked and tagged 1
& 4, and connectors from No. 2 & 3 spark plugs
with the cables marked 2 & 3. Make sure the con-
nector numbering by tracking the cables from the
spark plugs.

proof marine grease to the connectors.
