GENERAL INFORMATION 57 Throttle Lever: The throttle lever is located on the right hand side of the handlebars. Squeezing the lever towards the handlebar grip increases engine speed. When released, spring pressure returns the lever to the idle position. Always check that the throttle lever returns normally before starting the engine. In addition, there must be adequate throttle cable play. Refer to the MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENTS chapter for the throttle cable adjustment procedure. j A. B. C. D. Shift Lever Trigger "F" (Forward) position "R" (Reverse) position A. Throttle Lever To shift into Reverse from Forward, squeeze the trigger on the lever while pulling the lever all the way up. To shift into Forward, squeeze the trigger while pushing the lever all the way down. Be sure to allow the watercraft to slow down before shifting from Forward to Reverse. Shift Lever: The shift lever is located on the left side under the steering handlebars and has two positions: "F" (Forward) and "R" (Reverse).

Throttle Lever:
The throttle lever is located on the right hand side
of the handlebars. Squeezing the lever towards the
handlebar grip increases engine speed.
When re-
leased, spring pressure returns the lever to the idle
position.
Always check that the throttle lever re-
turns normally before starting the engine.
In ad-
dition, there must be adequate throttle cable play.
Refer to the MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENTS
chapter for the throttle cable adjustment procedure.

The shift lever is located on the left side under
the steering handlebars and has two positions: “F"
(Forward) and “R" (Reverse).

D. "R" (Reverse) position
To shift into Reverse from Forward, squeeze the
trigger on the lever while pulling the lever all the way
up.
To shift into Forward, squeeze the trigger while
