Quick Rivet Installation
A. Quick Rivet
B. Central Pin
C. Pull up fully.
D. Push in
Battery Removal
A. Positive Cable (Red)
B. Negative Cable (Black)
C. Straps
Disconnect the negative (black) cable and black
sub cable from the battery first.
Disconnect the positive (red) cable.
Release the tow rubber hold-down straps securing
the battery.
Lift the battery out of the hull.
Clean the battery top and terminals using a solu-
tion of baking soda and water. Scrape off any ob-
stinate deposits with a wire brush and then rinse
the battery with fresh water. Dry it thoroughly and
coat the terminals with waterproof grease.
Perform a visual inspection. Inspect for defective
or cracked case and cover, and loose or damaged
