32 GENERAL INFORMATION letters must be equal to the width of any letter except "I" or any number except "1." j Multifunction Meter Ahead of the steering handlebars is a multifunction meter. When the ignition switch is turned on, the fuel meter is shown then turns off. The analogue tachometer will make one sweep and then all displays on the panel are shown together with the warning light on and the buzzer will sound twice. After this self-check procedure, the meter display shows the normal readings. NOTE A = 3 inches (76.2 mm) minimum B=C D = 3 inches (76.2 mm) żThe display will go off 3 minutes after stopping the engine using the engine stop lanyard or stop button. żThe MODE button operates when the engine is running slower than 3 000 rpm. żWhen the warning light goes on, an intermittent buzzer sound accompanies. This buzzer sound can be stopped by pushing either "SET" or "MODE" button. żTo turn off the flashing warning lights, it is necessary to hold down either SET or MODE button for more than one second. żThen the MODE button can be operated normally.

Multifunction Meter
Ahead of the steering handlebars is a multifunc-
tion meter.
When the ignition switch is turned on,

ing light on and the buzzer will sound twice.

this self-check procedure, the meter display shows

NOTE

The display will go off 3 minutes after stopping
the engine using the engine stop lanyard or stop
button.
°
The MODE button operates when the engine is
running slower than 3 000 rpm.
°
When the warning light goes on, an intermit-
tent buzzer sound accompanies.
This buzzer
sound can be stopped by pushing either "SET" or
"MODE" button.
°
To turn off the flashing warning lights, it is neces-
sary to hold down either SET or MODE button for
more than one second.
°
Then the MODE button can be operated normally.
