HOW TO RIDE THE MOTORCYCLE 159 WARNING Releasing the throttle grip without disengaging the clutch on a slippery road surface may cause the rear wheel to lock up, which could lead to a crash resulting in serious injury or death. On a slippery road surface, never suddenly fully release the throttle grip without the disengaging the clutch. Using the clutch rather than the throttle to control engine output on a slippery road could cause the engine to stall which could lead to a crash resulting in serious injury or death. Use the throttle to control engine output when negotiating slippery roads. Use of non-recommended tires could cause malfunctioning or improper operation of KTRC, which could lead to a crash resulting in serious injury or death.Always use recommended standard tires for this motorcycle. When getting out of a slippery road while the KTRC is operating, close the throttle first, and then open it again.
