228 MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT Rear Shock Absorber The rear shock absorber operation and oil leakage should be checked in accordance with the Periodic Maintenance Chart. Rear Shock Absorber Inspection Press down on the seat several times to inspect the stroke. Visually inspect the rear shock absorber for oil leakage. any doubt about the rear shock ab• If sorber, it should be done by an authorized Kawasaki dealer. • • A. Rear Shock Absorber The rear shock absorber can be adjusted by changing the spring preload and rebound damping force for various riding and loading conditions.
