MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT 215 WARNING Operation with improperly adjusted, incorrectly routed or damaged cables could result in an unsafe riding condition. Follow the service manual to make sure to correct any of these conditions. Engine Vacuum Synchronization Engine vacuum synchronization must be checked and adjusted periodically in accordance with the Periodic Maintenance Chart by a competent mechanic following the instructions in the Service Manual. NOTE żPoor engine vacuum synchronization will cause unstable idling, sluggish throttle response, and reduce engine power and performance.
