GENERAL INFORMATION 75 When the warning message "SUBKEY ID ERROR" and warning symbol are displayed with the warning indicator light, this warns that the FOB is not correctly communicated when bringing the FOB to the ignition switch within 2 cm (0.8 in.) with the battery of the FOB discharged. Check that the range between the FOB and ignition switch is 2 cm (0.8 in.), or use the spare FOB.
