Adjustment

Adjustment is best performed by an authorized
Kawasaki dealer since the brake light switch is
hard to adjust.
NOTICE
To avoid damaging the electrical connec-
tions inside the switch, be sure that the
switch body does not turn during adjust-
ment.
Parking Brake Lever
The parking brake helps hold the vehicle from
rolling while parked.
In accordance with the Periodic Maintenance
Chart, check that the parking brake lever functions
properly.
Inspection
A. Parking Brake Lever
•
Pull the parking brake lever to the rear.
•
After 4 to 12 clicks of lever travel, the vehicle
should not roll while parked.
•
If it does, have the parking brake cable adjusted
by an authorized Kawasaki dealer.
