MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT
•
Apply a thin film of oil to the packing
and tighten the oil filter to the speci-
fied torque.
A. Packing
•
Install the engine oil drain bolts with
new gaskets and tighten them to the
specified torque.
NOTE
○
Replace any gaskets with new ones.
•
Fill the engine up to the upper level
line with a good quality engine oil
specified in the table.
•
Start the engine.
•
Check the oil level and for oil leak-
age.
Tightening Torque
Engine Oil Drain Bolts:
20 N·m (2.0 kgf·m, 15 ft·lb)
Oil Filter:
18 N·m (1.8 kgf·m, 13 ft·lb)
