For example, D (Drive). Brake-Shift Interlock Override WARNINGS Do not drive your vehicle until you verify that the brake lamps are working. E155990 The transmission will automatically upshift if your engine speed is too high or downshift if your engine speed is too low. When doing this procedure, you will be taking the vehicle out of park which means the vehicle can roll freely.
