30 CHAPTER 3: HARDWARE DESCRIPTION AND INSTALLATION s 10BASE-T Ethernet cable (8-pin to 8-pin connectors) labeled Ethernet which was provided in the package. It is recommended that you use the cable provided. However, if you choose to use another cable it must be a straight-through 10BASE-T Ethernet cable. A crossover cable may not be used to connect the LAN Modem to a workstation. s Power adapter (you must use the power adapter provided in the package).
