TCP/IP Setup Using Mac OS 7.6 or later 41 Figure 26 Microsoft TCP/IP Properties Window 9 From the Adapter drop down list box, select the Ethernet card that is connected to the 56K LAN Modem. 10 If this LAN uses dynamic IP addresses, select Obtain an IP Address automatically. If this LAN uses static IP addresses, enter the IP address and subnet mask. 11 Click OK. 12 Click Yes to restart your PC and allow the changes to take effect. TCP/IP Setup Using Mac OS 7.6 or later If you are using Macintosh operating system version 7.6 or later, Open Transport (OT) is provided and installed by default. If you did not install OT when first installing your system software, perform a custom installation of your system software to add OT version 1.1 or later. To set up TCP/IP for Mac, do the following. 1 From the Apple menu, select Control Panels and then select TCP/IP. The TCP/IP dialog box appears.
