RECORDING m Adjusting the recording level q Start playback of the connected unit or connect the microphone. Operate in the recording pause mode. 1 Press MODE repeatedly until "A.L.C." is displayed. A.L.C. : Automatic Level control 2 Press ENTER. "MANUAL" is displayed. 3 Press MODE three times. 4 Press + or - referring to the level meter in the display to adjust the recording level . Set the recording level @ as high as possible but not reaching the OVER indication. 5 Prass -II to start recording. To adjust the recording level during recording Press + or - during recording in the same way as step 4. To resume automatic level control Press MODE while in recording pause mode to display "MANUAL", then press ENTER to display "A.L.C.".
