49 External Pointing Device This computer accepts a PS/2-compatible or USB mouse or similar pointing device. External PS/2 Mouse The built-in touchpad works alternately with an external PS/2 mouse which is hot-pluggable. To use a PS/2-compatible mouse, simply plug it into the PS/2 port. External USB Mouse To use a USB mouse, flip out the cover of a USB jack, and p[ug in a USB mouse. See "USB Devices" on page 53 for more information.

External PS/2 Mouse
The built-in touchpad works alternately with an external PS/2

To use a PS/2-compatible mouse,
simply plug it into the PS/2 port.
