78 Chapter 5 Software Parameter Description Options Maximum Shows the maximum size of the hard Capacity disk. MultiSector Transfers Specifies the number of sectors per block for multiple sector transfers. 16, 8, 4, 2 Sectors or Disabled LBA Mode Control When enabled, Logical Block Addressing is used in place of cylinders, heads and sectors. Enabled or Disabled Transfer Mode Selects the method for moving data to and from the hard disk. Fast PIO 4, 3, 2, 1, Standard, FPIO 4/ DMA 2 or FPIO 3/ DMA 1 Ultra DMA Selects the Ultra DMA mode used for Mode 2, 1, 0 or Mode moving data to and from the hard disk. Disabled Note: When the hard disk type is set to Auto, the other items in this screen are automatically set to their optimum values and are not user-configurable.
