4 Lower the manual feed transport guide. (1) Hold the tabs (A) on both sides. (2) Push them down. Paper Jams in the Rear Cover or Duplex Unit (MF8350Cdn Only) Referring to the procedure on the display, follow the steps below to remove jammed paper. Keys to be used for this operation (A) 5 Remove the paper by pulling it gently. 1 6 Return the manual feed transport guide to its original position. Press [ ]. Paper jam. Press [ ] to display steps. 2 7 Troubleshooting Close the manual feed slot cover. Open the rear cover. (1) (2) 3 8 9 Insert the paper cassette into the machine. When the following screen appears, select with [ ], and then press [OK]. The machine is ready to print. Open the paper output guide by holding the green tab (A). (A) Is all of the jammed paper removed? Yes No 9-6
