ISO Speed/Gain Base ISO Speed Set the ISO speed for the recommended dynamic range. You can choose from one of three base ISO speed settings: low speed, high speed or automatic selection. Low speed is recommended for normal lighting conditions, while high speed is recommended for low lighting conditions. The high speed setting will result in a high ISO/gain value and low noise. Selecting [Auto Selection] will automatically change the base ISO speed 75 depending on the ISO/gain value. Select > [v Camera Setup] > [Base ISO] > Desired option. • Available values will depend on the [Gamma/Color Space] setting in the custom picture file and the recording format. Manual ISO Speed/Gain Value 1 Select > [v Camera Setup] > [ISO/Gain] > [ISO] or [Gain]. 2 Select > [v Camera Setup] > [ISO/Gain Mode] > [Manual]. 3 Depending on your previous selection, select Desired option. > [v Camera Setup] > [ISO/Gain Increment] > 4 Adjust the ISO speed or gain value using the direct setting mode (A 57). • You can also use direct touch control (A 56). Using the Control Dial/Control Ring You can adjust the ISO speed or gain value using the control dial or the control ring of an RF lens/mount adapter. 1 Perform steps 1 to 3 in the Manual ISO Speed/Gain Value procedure. (A 75) 2 Select > [B System Setup] > [Grip Control Dial], [Top Control Dial] or [Control Ring] > [ISO/Gain]. 3 Turn the control dial or control ring to set the desired ISO speed or gain value.
