Press the Power button for a few moments.
Memory card slot cover or battery
cover is open.
Be sure the cover is closed securely.
Batteries are loaded in the wrong
direction.
Reload the batteries in the correct direction.
Batteries are depleted.
Replace with unused alkaline or fully
recharged batteries (two AA-size batteries).
Use an AC Adapter Kit ACK800 (sold
separately).
Batteries are not the right type.
Use only unused AA-size alkaline batteries or
Canon AA-size NiMH batteries. (For
