Printer Maintenance s Cleaning the Print Head Cleaning the print head clears the nozzles. There are two ways to clean the print head: normal print head cleaning and deep print head cleaning. Always execute normal print head cleaning first. If this does not correct the problem, then execute deep print head cleaning, which produces more intensive cleaning. Cleaning the Print Head
Cleaning the print head clears the nozzles. There are two ways to clean the print head:
normal print head cleaning and deep print head cleaning. Always execute normal print head
cleaning first. If this does not correct the problem, then execute deep print head cleaning,
which produces more intensive cleaning.

Normal print head cleaning
Open the Page Setup dialog box.
Normally, select Page Setup from the File menu.
Click the Utilities button.
Select Cleaning in the drop-down menu and then click the
icon.
