Notes on Handling BJ Cartridges Note • Do not attempt to reattach the protective cap and protective tape after removing them. Observe all local regulations regarding the location and method of disposing of them. • Do not leave an empty BJ tank in a BJ cartridge. Remove it immediately after ink runs out, and replace it with a new BJ tank. • If, for some reason, you remove a usable BJ tank from the BJ cartridge, re-insert the BJ tank right away. Otherwise the ink will dry and print jobs may not be performed properly when you install the BJ tank later. • For optimum print quality, a BJ tank or BJ cartridge should be used up within six months or a year respectively, after opening the original packaging.
