Printer Maintenance s Turning the Printer On and Off The Auto Power On/Off capability of the printer driver allows you to turn the printer off when no data is sent to the printer for a certain period of time and turn the printer back on again when data is sent to the printer. 1 Open the Page Setup dialog box. Normally, select Page Setup from the File menu. 2 Click the Utilities button. 3 Click Auto Power Setting from the dropdown box, and then select the auto power settings Auto Power On or Auto Power Off, as necessary.
