Printout Is Unsatisfactory s Backs of pages stained with ink The backs of pages are stained after they are printed and ejected from the printer. Check IS GRAYSCALE PRINTING BEING PERFORMED? If you are performing grayscale printing, the backs of the pages may be stained with ink. You may be able to eliminate this problem by reducing the black density on the printer driver setting screen. Windows 1 Open the Printer Properties dialog box and click the Advanced button in the Main tab. 2 Click the Color tab. 3 Use the Black slide bar to change the print density setting. If this does not produce an improvement, try using the optional BC-34e Photo BJ Cartridge to perform your printing. Macintosh 1 When using Manual for printing, click the Details button in the Printer Properties dialog box. 2 In the Color panel, use the Black slide bar to change the print density setting.
