Power down the server. See "Powering Down the Server" earlier in this chapter. 2. Remove the access panel. See "Access Panel" earlier in this chapter. CAUTION: Prevent damage to the connector pins by lifting the SCSI module evenly and with equal pressure on the board. Tilting the board causes the connector pins to bend. 3. Remove the SCSI controller module by pinching the tops of the support posts , and then carefully lifting the SCSI controller module from the system board . 4. Disconnect the SCSI cable from the SCSI controller connector on the module . See "Two-Device Terminated SCSI Cable (Models 20 and 30)" later in this chapter. 3 2 1 Figure 2-15. Single Channel Wide-Ultra2 SCSI Controller Module

To remove the SCSI controller module:
1.
